I found this square drawer at a local thrift shop last fall. I just gave it a Christmas/winter makeover!

  I found this wooden sled at Goodwill recently.   I gave it a makeover, along with another wooden thrifted sled below.

  Even though I live in Minnesota, I had never heard of the Bachman's Idea House inspiration tours until reading Linda's Itsy Bits & Pieces Blog.   Linda did a great job regularly sharing Bachman's seasonal/holiday tours!  This year, I was in the Twin Cities area in November and made it a point to attend the Christmas open house.  Due to Covid-19 concerns, the tour was located in Bachman's flagship store instead of inside the Idea House.  Here are my photos taken during the open house. Right at the start of the tour, I was seeing a lot of Christmas decor in black!  I have been using more black this season too!  How about you?

I picked up this old, plain, wood crate at a local antiques/consignment shop for $12. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I had no qualms about painting it because it was so plain.

I don't stencil on boards all that often.   Normally, I stencil on garage sale or thrifted finds, but this project started out as a six foot pine board from Menard's, cut to a 36" x 7" sign.

I purchased this chair recently for outdoor Christmas decorating. It was extremely rustic.

I found this unfinished wooden sled at a Goodwill in the Twin Cities over Christmas.  It was priced at $5.99.   I was going to save it until next Christmas but instead, I gave it a a "Winter" makeover.
