Organized Clutter

  Today's two projects will be the last blog installment in my 2019 Semi-Homemade Ornament Series.  Why semi-homemade ornaments?  Because they are inexpensive, quick and easy!  Earlier this fall, I purchased this package of two gingerbread Christmas Craft ornaments at Hobby Lobby.  Even though they were $2.99, I got them at 50% off.

I found this rustic box sign at a thrift shop a few weeks ago. This was the back of the sign. This little sign received a fun re-purpose.

On a recent trip to Hobby Lobby, I purchased a  Basically Yours Natural and Black 18" x 18" Pillow Cover. The standard sofa pillow size is 18" x 18", and I like to purchase plain pillow covers at Hobby Lobby (when they are on sale) and decorate them with stencils. My daughter wanted a Minnesota state pride pillow cover for her sofa.

 Do you remember this little stool I found at the thrift shop?  I used the legs for a project but not the top.  I added the legs to a fun crate  HERE. Today, I am going to use leftovers from three projects to make ANOTHER project!

Last week I purchased a yard of green and black buffalo check flannel at our local craft store.  I actually wanted red and black checks, but they said it was back ordered, and hard to get.  (I think buffalo checks are popular again this Christmas). I found Ragon House wired red and black flannel ribbon at a local drug store. I am going to do some crafting with this buffalo checked flannel and a couple of 4" x 6" rustic black picture frames.
