Organized Clutter

I found this wall envelope a while back in the Target Dollar Spot area, with the intention of giving it a makeover. Scroll on down to see the whole project along with an easy Easter project too!

  You know how I love digging through the Target Bullseye Playground bins at the front of the store.  I found these stackable condiment bowls at the Bemidji  Target recently for $5. I am not saving them for condiments however!

I found this little chair shelf for $5 in the Target bins at the front of the store. I love scouring these bins for decor pieces that I can give an easy makeover.

I love rummaging through the T arget Bullseye Playground bins at the front of the Target stores, especially at Christmastime.  Most of the stuff is under $5. I picked up this faux cutting board riser recently. I have made a few of these from real thrift shop cutting boards in the past. The target riser is made from MDF with a thin coat of veneer.  So it's meant for decorative use only. I also picked up this small metal white truck in the Target bins.   Both will get Christmas makeovers!

I found this decorative wooden toolbox/tote at Goodwill recently. I cleaned it up with hot soapy Dawn Dish Soap water and a rag.

 I live in a small northern Minnesota town with a small independent craft and hobby shop, a Kmart that's about to close (forever), a large Menard's home improvement store, a Dollar Tree, and a Dollar General.  We also have a Family Dollar but I seldom shop there.  Most of the chain stores are at least one hundred miles away. Most of my local shopping is done at thrift shops, consignment shops, or garage sales.  My blog is supply driven.  I find something , and then find something to do with it.  My cousin gave me several 2 1/2" grapevine wreaths like the one above.  They still had the price tags on them for 20 cents each. 

 I was in Bemidji, Minnesota, last Saturday, and was able to check out Target's Dollar Spot. I loved these little plastic cedar , boxwood , AND,   Rosemary sprig packages.  I purchased two cedar packages of four, one boxwood package of three, and one package of four rosemary sprigs.
