Organized Clutter

  I found these 16" x 16" striped pillow covers at a garage sale last weekend for $1.   They were like new.

Normally my stenciling is crisp and neat. But when I decided to try stenciling on a stuffed buffalo check fabric pillow, and not a pillow cover, my results were less than stellar.

This shipping crate stamp stencil from *Old Sign Stencils  is rapidly becoming one of my favorites! I thought I would use it on a few plain crates, but instead I'm finding I love the stamps with some color.

Hobby Lobby has an 18" x 18" knit red and charcoal buffalo check pillow cover .  (18" x 18" is the standard sofa pillow size! No need to buy pillow forms, just change out your sofa pillows to change seasons or decor) It is currently Out Of Stock online, but I found mine at the Bemidji Hobby Lobby Store, when it was 50% off or $7.49. The online description says the pillow cover, with bottom zipper, is red and gray.  The gray is more of a charcoal color, closer to black than gray.

On a recent trip to Hobby Lobby, I purchased a  Basically Yours Natural and Black 18" x 18" Pillow Cover. The standard sofa pillow size is 18" x 18", and I like to purchase plain pillow covers at Hobby Lobby (when they are on sale) and decorate them with stencils. My daughter wanted a Minnesota state pride pillow cover for her sofa.
