I purchased two 6" x 8" and one 8" x 10" art canvases at our local Dollar Tree. I used them to create easy botanical wall art!

I found these little wooden Jack O' Lantern unfinished boxes at Dollar Tree . I gave them an easy upcycle!

I ran across this metal minnow bucket it in my shed.  I had purchased it at a garage sale, and used it in my junk garden several years ago.  It's not super old as it had a UPC stamped on it. I found these vintage   luggage look covered boxes at the Dollar Tree . I thought they were pretty cute!  I gave them an easy upgrade below to make them even better.

This wooden hinged box was a great Goodwill find. I paid $5.99 for it in the Twin Cities.  It's a perfect find for a makeover.

I purchased a tiny Norfolk Pine at Christmas time several years ago.  It was only about 4" tall. (A Norfolk Pine is not really a pine tree, by the way) I kept the Norfolk Pine alive after Christmas, and eventually transplanted it into a bigger, but plain, plastic pot.  It has grown quite a bit, and spends its summers on my covered patio.

When the weather is just too hot, too cold or too wet to be outside, maybe it's a great time to do a little holiday crafting!  I made these easy  Salt & Pepper Shaker Ornaments  from thrift store clear glass shakers, faux snow, a mini adhesive deer stencil, a button, bell, and ribbon. Back in 2018, I stenciled these two bucket planters with roosters in a blog post  HERE. Today, I gave them a bright new summer makeover!

  You know how I love digging through the Target Bullseye Playground bins at the front of the store.  I found these stackable condiment bowls at the Bemidji  Target recently for $5. I am not saving them for condiments however!

My aunt gave me this little wooden candy box.  She wondered if I could make something out of it.

I found this felt bunny garland at Dollar Tree recently in the the Easter section. The felt was very thin, and the colors were a bit too bright for my style, so I gave it a makeover.

This little wooden box was a Goodwill find at Christmas time. The little snowmen were hand painted.   Primitive country is just not my style anymore, but it sure was at one time!

Back in 2015, I assembled a grater photo holder, with a DIY easel back, with these parts! The project was very popular for years on Pinterest! Today, I gave the grater photo holder and a Dollar Tree find a facelift for Valentine's Day. 

These mini  Dollar Tree  boxes were upcycled in early 2021 with paint and Dollar Tree stencils. I actually shared several Dollar Tree/Dollar General upcycle projects in 2021, partially due to the pandemic.  I attended far fewer garage sales and paid less visits to thrift shops as well, but luckily Dollar Tree expanded its craft area.   Click on the bold links under the photos for full DIY tutorials.

  My fall craft project started with two round craft boxes with lids from Dollar Tree. The boxes were just $1 each.

  I purchased these three little wooden mini clipboards at Dollar Tree recently. They were $1 each, and I found them near the frame section.

  These plain brown paper gift bags were purchased at Dollar Tree at two for $1. I upcycled them, along with a couple of children's treat bags with Dollar Tree supplies.

I found this thin pasteboard laundry sign at Dollar Tree. I gave it lots of farmhouse laundry room style.

  I purchased the Cross on the left at Dollar Tree and the one one the right at Dollar General. I purchased these two at Dollar Tree. I gave them all a makeover.
