Thrifted Slatted Wood Sign & Box Boho Mudcloth Planter

March 13, 2022
I found this pine wooden box at a Goodwill store last fall. I paid $2.99 for it, but I thought it was a good deal with the price of wood. (and it saved me some time and work)

Thrifted Flower Pot Gets A Modern Boho Makeover

February 15, 2022
I found this bright orange ceramic flower pot at the thrift shop recently.   The finish was very matte so I thought I could paint it very easily.

I ran across this box of second hand Christmas tins I had purchased years ago in our garage.

Fall Themed Coasters Receive A Bohemian Herringbone Makeover

January 15, 2022
Maybe you remember these coasters from last fall.  I found them at our local Menards.  They are still available online  HERE. I ended up creating a fall garland or banner with the coasters  HERE.

Round Vintage Frame Upcycled As Mandala Wall Decor

February 12, 2020
I got this old round frame from my mom.  It's a vintage frame with fine nails holding in the glass. Does the horseback rider look familiar?  It's me.

More TWICE Upcycled Thrift Shop Purchases

October 06, 2019
I am giving a couple more of my previous projects another makeover!  Sometimes they don't sell, or I just am tired of the first look. From this photo you can't tell that this platter is 21 1/2" in diameter.  It's quite large, (and heavy).  I found this primitive style resin platter at a local thrift shop.  I used to be a huge fan of prim country, but lately I have lightened up my decor and adopted farmhouse style.

Upcycled, Repurposed and Stenciled Stools

August 07, 2019
Do you pick up little stools at garage sales and thrift shops?  I do. This one is from the thrift shop. This one was from a flea market. Both get a makeover, AND I am sharing a round up of my other blog stool upcycles here too.

Shabby Chic/Boho Junk Garden Vignette

July 08, 2019
I am always thinking up new ideas for outdoor junk garden vignettes around my yard.   I was thinking shabby chic/boho style for an area in the back yard, along the house wall that gets part sun and quite a bit of shade. My first step was to stencil the old enamelware coffeepot with a mandala stencil.

Upcycled Shabby Chic/Boho Plant Stand/Shelf

June 27, 2019
This plant stand was one of my recent garage sale finds from  last week's blog post. I paid $4.

Rustic Boho Mandala Sign with Rough Sawn Fence Boards

April 02, 2017
I just love the Mandala stencil from DecoArt.   I have the 10" x 10" size from  Home Depot.   You can also get a DecoArt Mandala stencil in 12" x 12"   and  18" x 18".   I think of the Mandala as a doily, but it is a very trendy design in the Boho decorating.
