A Half Barn Door Fall Sign/ Pumpkin Spice Latte Decor

September 04, 2021

I purchased this rustic half section of a barn door at our local antiques shop on Crazy Daze for $13.

I thought it would be the start of a fun fall outdoor DIY decor piece.

I pulled out this Pumpkin Spice Latte Stencil from Old Sign Stencils.  This is a great stencil for coffee AND fall lovers!

All prices on the Old Sign Stencils's website are listed in Canadian currency.  A handy currency conversion link is provided for your convenience.

*Old Sign Stencils provided me with complimentary samples. All opinions about these fabulous stencils are my own.

I didn't lug this heavy door section into the house, I stenciled it on my zinc topped table/potting bench.

I used a ruler to center the stencil on the top portion of the barn door, and then taped it down with blue painter's tape.

I pounced on the stencil using Fusion Mineral Paint in Ash.

Next, I pulled out two more of my Old Sign Stencils (that coordinate perfectly with Pumpkin Spice Latte).

I will only be using a section of the Bakery stencil, and of Pumpkins 25 Cents.

I found two of these galvanized bins/drawers at a recent flea market.  This one will be perfect for my project.

I pounced "Open 10-4" on a galvanized side of the bin using more Ash paint.

I stenciled 25 cents on bottom left side of the barn door.

This sign was fun to accessorize!

The bin/drawer was attached to the barn door section with two screws from the inside top of the bin.

I filled the bin with a vintage enamelware coffeepot and small pumpkins.

Two enamelware cups and an enamelware ladle hang on nails.

The barn door just barely fit next to the door on the covered patio.  Whew!

The pumpkin spice latte vignette is a great anchor piece on my fall covered patio.
