My neighbor gave me this old rusty birdfeeder that once belonged to his grandmother.  It's just my style!

It was made by the Tunlaw Corporation.  It is now a part of MY NEW RUSTIC BIRDHOUSE display for this year.

When I searched Tunlaw Corp. birdfeeder on Google, I found this 1962 advertising photo/postcard for sale on Ebay.

It was once green!

I won't be displaying my old birdhouses, on the rail of my deck under the tree, this year.  I chose to assemble a few crates, a fence picket, and an old grain screen to display them upon.

Hooks were added to backs of three of them to hang on the screen.  I had to add a small shim to back of the white birdhouse to make it hang straight up and down because of its roof overhang.

A bucket of nicotiana also sits on one of the crates.

Lots of rustic wood with a great patina here!

More crates, and a fence picket displaying birdhouses. The bucket is planted with double impatiens.

The "Vintage" buffalo check pail project details can be found HERE, and the "General Store" crate stencil post is HERE.

My garden fork/birdhouse project is stuck in the back of the bucket.

My display makes a pretty great privacy screen for the deck!

Most of these old birdhouses were from garage sales, with a few from antique shops/consignment shops.
