Garden Junk Mod Podge Image Transfer On Galvanized Metal

June 28, 2015
My sister in law, Kris, has applied Mod Podge image transfers to outdoor galvanized metal garden containers.

One of her old watering cans has a fun saying in a very quirky font. She got the idea from Pinterest.

The "Please Notice This" graphic on one of her laundry tubs is downloadable here from the Graphics Fairy.

A Garden Farm Manual's vintage graphics from an 1896 Johnson & Stokes cover was applied to an old metal garbage can.

The Mod Podge Matte Finish image transfer method is easy.  Here is a tutorial from the Homeroad blog.

Isn't this a beautiful container of Picasso petunias?

No transfers on this laundry tub, but how flippin' cute is this tub of red dahlias!

Kris has sealed her Mod Podge image transfers for outdoors with several coats of  Minwax Helmsman Spar Urethane Satin Spray, and so far it has worked perfectly, and June has been a rainy month!

Happy Junk Gardening!
