In mid June my front border looked like this, filling in but not a lot of blossoms.

Scroll on down for more June, July and August photos.

Here is the same angle of the border in July.  Notice I took the Nasturiums out of the laundry tub.  They were taking over the whole area.

Here is the border in mid-late August.  All of the perennials have bloomed, including the black eyed Susans, that are the last to bloom in my garden.

This is the same area in mid July.  The red border lilies are done blooming, and other Asiatics are starting to bloom.

Here in August, the lilies have all stopped blooming and the purple coneflowers and black eyed Susans are in bloom, along with the annual marigolds and calendulas.

The plants are definitely bigger in August although hot temps have slowed down the blooms on the Fuchsias.

This year, the legs and shelf were redone on my potting sink, and it was moved to the side of my shed. This is potting sink/shed at planting time.

I have two red zonal geraniums, one ivy geranium, a red penta, and a cherry tomato plant in this August photo.

I had great hopes for this mandevilla vine in early June.

But, it didn't really get many blossoms.  Here in late August, it has the most blooms it's had all summer long.

Thanks for visiting my junk gardens!
