Create A Grater Photo Display/Country Sampler Farmhouse Style Magazine

June 30, 2019
I received this wonderfully chippy old cabinet panel from my Junkin' Friend Jodi!

It just so happened that this thrift shop vintage grater fit the panel's raised center almost perfectly.

I love it when this happens!

I also love it when my projects are featured in a magazine!

I highly recommend that you purchase the fall issue of Country Sampler Farmhouse Style!

Many talented bloggers have their DIY project ideas featured, including my friends Susan from Homeroad and Sarah from Sadie Seasongoods!

DIY details for my photo display are as follows:
Old buttons were hot glued onto magnets to hold my photos!

The grater was screwed to the cabinet panel at the top and bottom.

I also added a file label bracket inside the grater handle and printed Family in a script font on my computer.

A saw tooth hanger was added to the back for hanging.

I then hung a couple of family photos from the "olden days" with my button magnets.

This photo display is much more fun than a plain old frame, don't ya think?

The cabinet panel/grater photo holder is still hanging in the hall with other unusual and repurposed photo holders.
