Sempervivum or hen and chicks are an integral part of my junk gardens!  They literally grow in anything with very little soil, and THRIVE!

I used part of a Round Coco Fiber Liner stuffed into the toaster slots to hold my dirt.

Another very shallow container is a vintage ice cube tray.  I put holes through the bottom and added soil, stones and hen and chicks.

The chick starter image is from the Graphics Fairy.  I used the Mod Podge image transfer method to add the label.  Sealed many times with a Krylon clear spray sealer.
