A Stenciled Window Screen with Old Sign Stencils

Last summer I picked up some window screens at a garage sale in two sizes.
The screen on the left became a magnetic photo holder HERE.
The chippy white one got a dry brushing on the screen only with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in "Country Grey".
I used parts of three different stencils on my window screen. First the *"Homestead Blend Coffee" stencil from Old Sign Stencils.
Next the "Fresh n'Hot Served Daily" from the Lunch Stencil Collection.
And lastly the "Arrow & 25 Cents" from the Winter Graphic Collection.
I pounced on the graphics with black acrylic paint and a bristle stencil brush. After I finished stenciling, I gave the entire screen, wood and all a couple coats of Varathane Matte Water Based Poly. This will not only seal the stencil but keep the paint from chipping any further.
This rustic screen fits in well with my vintage, farmhouse style kitchen.
