Framed Lobelia May 2013 www.organizedclutterqueen.blogspot.com
With the success of this Techno Heat Lobelia in the frame both in the garden and on my blog, I am repeating the project this year.

So here is my newly planted Techno Heat Lobelia in Violet.  This way it will never be confused with the 2013's blue lobelia.

I accumulated quite a few grass clippers over the winter and spring.  All for a dollar or two.

So I decided to decorate my old gate with a little vintage clipart.  I couldn't resist the pun.

Still planting and the weather is warm and in the 70's!

  1. Ha ha .....took me a second. I was busy thinking of how you come up with these cute ideas. Thanks to you I pulled alot of weeds. All because of the manicured yard. Sine what I have done so far is whimsical.

  3. I copied your idea of the framed Lobelia last year, but mine was a yellow frame with yellow saliva but never got full and pretty. Must try something different this year. Love your 'clip art' gate.
    Have a great week-end.

  6. I like the little garden gate... and your collection.
I have to many "Littles" playing in the yard to display my garden tools this way... none of them can read yet, so a sign saying ...DON'T TOUCH THE CLIPPERS ... is out of the question! LOL! Pat
