More Christmas Vignettes 2013

December 20, 2013
I am hoping to get my Christmas tour 2013 posted Sunday or Monday.  Yes, I am running behind schedule!

Besides being a vintage lover and a junker, I'm a little bit country.  Here are some of my country Christmas vignettes.
These vignettes are all in my family room/den:

Jars of buttons, vintage Christmas ornaments, candy, and marbles, and a vintage look Santa in an old crate.

An old tool box with Chinese checkerboards, a vintage Christmas carol book, vintage look Santa and vintage clocks.

These are book shelves in my family room/den.  Vintage collectibles like thermoses, globes, metal baskets, and cameras are displayed with just a little Christmas decor tucked in.

A couple of primitive country mice play in the snow in a vintage baking pan.

And lastly, I filled my creamy white vintage suitcase with some country Christmas decor.

Country Christmas decor makes me smile!  (and it mixes well with vintage too!)

I hope you all are done with all your decorating, shopping, wrapping and food prep!  I am looking forward to seeing my kids and grandkids next week!

  3. Everything is wonderful, but my favorite is the mouse building the snowman.

I have just discovered, through a blog, Maileg stuffed animals. I really want a Maileg mouse, but the are awfully expensive for something I really don't need.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS

  16. How lovely! I am so far behind in my blog reading with this house renovation, but I'm glad to see some more of your holiday decorating! I particularly love those adorable mice playing in the snow. Merry Christmas my friend and we seem to be getting lots of ice and no snow for Christmas this year.
