Dining Table Bouquet

March 05, 2012
I have an antique oak pedestal table in my kitchen where we eat most of our daily meals, and a Broyhill cherry dining table at the end of my living room for special occasions. I like it round, so it takes up little space. I only use leaves if necessary.

About a year ago, I brought a vase of mine (Early American Prescut) to a local florist, Gearhart's Floral and Gifts, to fill with some silks. I also brought a couple photos in of my living room to show them the colors I liked, and they put it together.

It turned out perfect!

Last month, I found a pair of reproduction mercury glass candlesticks, (new but for only $18) and a little silver tray for $2. I added one of my favorite doilies, and it looks like this:

Still love this vase of silks, night or day!
