Thrifted Tiered Cake Stand Stenciled With Poinsettia Christmas Sweater Stencil

This is a
two tiered cake stand sold by Target for $32.99. It is a Joanna Gaines design.
I found it while thrifting on Saturday priced at $17. It's not unusual to find brand new Target merchandise at Target. I thought it was unusual that the item was still available at Target though, and not a clearance item.

Tiered stands are very popular now. I had the idea to transform my stand
into a Christmas decor piece.
I took the stand apart.
I was totally in love with my Old Sign Stencil Christmas Sweater stencil
last season, and the good news is that Donna has two more sweater pattern
stencils for this season.
This one is the Poinsettia Christmas Sweater Stencil.

I centered the stencil on the wood trays.
Make sure that all the screw holes will line up with the holder when your
are finished, and that the stencil is in the center of the handle.
I pounced on the stencil using Fusion Mineral Paint in Raw Silk.
When the stenciling was dry, I sprayed two coats of Rustoleum Clear Spray in Matte on
the trays only, and put the tiered shelf back together.
Here is my finished tiered tray.
Don't you love this stencil? The stencil is really easy to continue
for larger pieces.
I am not decorating for Christmas yet, but I placed a few goodies from
Target on the tray for staging.
I love the woven trees from Target this year. The thermos and lantern
are ornaments from Target.
