I just love it when I can reuse summer decor for fall or winter.

Like this $2 rummage sale table that I purchased in the spring and made into a planter table for my covered patio.

I have to admit that with all of the rain we had last spring and summer, I did touch up the chalk paint on the table.  Even with a covered patio, the table did get wet a few times and the stained undercoat bled through in spots.

The variegated pothos vine is now inside for winter, and the terracotta pot is filled with fall florals from the Tattered Angel, an occasional shop.  A rusty lantern and a vintage thermos round out the table vignette.  My biked wheel returns with clothespinned leaves!

This vignette could easily be moved inside, to a foyer or my living room (and it just may move inside if I find new junk for the covered patio).

  4. That's just downright cute. I'm not ready for fall just yet, but since I live on the coast, I can hold off a little longer!
