I do have a snake plant, like yours. Did you know they bloom and have the most beautiful smelling flowers? I love them!Danni@SiloHillFarmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13220897952708626415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-262856102619977361.post-82691852426432683012013-09-15T04:39:02.974-05:002013-09-15T04:39:02.974-05:00What a lovely round up! My favorite is the ivy. I just love it in that plaid lunch box. I am not a houseplant person. Outside no problem, inside they die, LOL!!

CynthiaCynthiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18110661139781107705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-262856102619977361.post-20807462962174500402013-09-14T06:24:48.613-05:002013-09-14T06:24:48.613-05:00Hi Carlene,

But my house is just too dark!
I'm thinking of making a little green house/ box on the south porch with a couple of french doors I have down in the barn. The cement on the porch heats up...due to the sun, the windows in the doors will give light...and and hopefully I can keep my plants alive.
We'll see.
PatPatricia @ 9th and Denverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04786692442689958889noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-262856102619977361.post-43884454207227061072013-09-13T21:11:01.715-05:002013-09-13T21:11:01.715-05:00I'm hoping that my new house will have the rig...I'm hoping that my new house will have the right kind of light for lots of house plants - I've had the gamut of African violets, ferns, Pelargonium, right through to the succulents that I grow now. They have to be kept under lights for the winter which is somewhat difficult.

PS: Thanks for the call out, Carlene! We have low light, so most of the house plants here are ivy and closet plant. I'm trying to grow some ferns with mixed success. Out in the sunroom we have a crested euphorbia. Do you know this plant? It's like the large euphorbia you showed, except it has mutated into crests. Interesting plant.
Have a great weekend.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01873375271470225199noreply@blogger.com
