Thrift Shop Mirror Makeover Fit for a Queen

This dated dark walnut stained mirror was still in its box at the thrift shop, but it was missing one of its shaker pegs.  Here is the makeover and HOW I DID IT:

 1.  I painted the mirror with two coats of Decoart Chalky Paint in "Escape".
2.  I stenciled a crown from a Decoart French stencil at the top.
3.   I sanded the edges with 220 grit sandpaper and waxed the mirror with Decoart Creme Wax.
4.  Then I added two small white hooks.

The mirror is for sale at my shop for some little princess to hang in her room and organize her crowns or jewelry!

  1. Your thrift store mirror turned out so cute, Carlene. Love the colors. I'm sure that a sweet little princess will enjoy it!
