The motels remind me of our summer vacations when I was a kid. We always got postcards of hotels we stayed at. Wish I still had them. I remember many of the places because i remember the postcards. Great memories, as always!<br />LizLiz @ Quirky Vistashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12619479131117781394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-262856102619977361.post-15677301454849637622012-10-19T15:20:05.620-05:002012-10-19T15:20:05.620-05:00How fun! I tried to find our house in the postcard (it was one of the first on our street) but I think the artist made a few changes and added the slashes of red coloring. I do recognize many of the buildings on Howard Street, but many have been demolished, too.Vickie @ Ranger 911https://www.blogger.com/profile/12847126296813987337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-262856102619977361.post-10709793574243317102012-10-19T10:35:05.266-05:002012-10-19T10:35:05.266-05:00I may be a deltiologists, but I didn't know it...I may be a deltiologists, but I didn't know it. I have a large postcard collection that, like yours, began with some I found in my family home. You have some really great cards. I always love postcards of hotels. They make me think of family vacations. Very interesting post. Although I do have a good number of postcards, I didn't know a lot of the informa-tion you posted. Hope you have a great weekend. laurieBargain Decorating with Lauriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13582640485560903639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-262856102619977361.post-56234472589927024252012-10-19T09:00:59.403-05:002012-10-19T09:00:59.403-05:00I love old postcards.
