I have a Sanford and Son sign in my front side garden. I work from daylight til dark in the spring and summer. I use old straw purses,I have every pr of my 10 yr olds old crocs filled with succulents and hanging on my old barn door. I have the wooden frame from a box spring and I added a little rough teal paint. I going to put all kinds of birdhouses on it, and bird signs etc .I have cancer and stay in all winter waiting for the Ohio snow to scat so I can go play in the yard. I too hate winter yard. I got a thing called a garden tile . It's 14x14 of diff.succulants. I put them all over and they spread really fast. And always are the first thing to liven up. Anyhoo, Every year I accummilate more junk . A hateful new neighbor from the street next to us ,Came and looked over my fence and said that's it. I'm calling the Health Dept! That wasn't a pretty day lol. Then she sees people stopping to take pics of my yard. <br />I love it. I just saw some pics of my yard from mid-summer last year and was surprised how nice it looked! I love your gardens; very organized and yet totally random. I'd be honored to live next to you.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06098491005729245708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-262856102619977361.post-15743824890200655592016-04-29T22:42:58.498-05:002016-04-29T22:42:58.498-05:00Now I don't feel quite so bad... was having se...Now I don't feel quite so bad... was having second thoughts about all the "junk" in my yard! They looked so forlorn! The Garbage Garden exists across the road in the ditch - because as I divide bulbs or have extra plants, I can't throw anything in the compost pile that just might provide a flower. Into the Garbage Garden it goes. Thanks for sharing the same feelings. :)grandmajeaninfargohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04382772442988699872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-262856102619977361.post-13122231569438219372016-04-18T06:32:03.695-05:002016-04-18T06:32:03.695-05:00Thanks for sharing your before and after photos!
