Two Upcycled Thrift Shop Finds for my Farmhouse Style Kitchen

My first thrift shop find is the this wooden "Measure" sign.  It didn't come with hooks but I have seen these before for measuring spoons or measuring cups a while back.

Updating Garage Sale Bookends with Paint & Numbers

Thrifting is usually slow this time of year in northern Minnesota due to cold weather.  I have been going through my stash of junk in the garage looking for things to repurpose and/or upcycle when I came across two sets of bookends. I am pretty sure that these dark stained wooden bookends were homemade.

Four Thrift Shop Cutting Board Makeovers!

I always pick up cutting boards or breadboards at garage sales and thrift shops.  I recently picked up these four boards, and gave each a whole new look.

Thrift Shop Candle Sconce Makeover

I purchased this dark stained candle sconce at the thrift shop this week.  These are usually plentiful and inexpensive at my local thrift shops.

HOT Coffee Projects When It's COLD Outside

This is an over-the-sink kitchen shelf from the thrift shop.  It's the single sink size, 30 inches.  I tried a new type of chalk paint today from Dutch Boy in the color "Popcorn".

2 Thrift Shop Makeovers with Fusion Mineral Paint, Stencils and Hooks

It seems like I haven't blogged for a year, well at least not since last year!
I finally took out my paints and stencils and got to work on these two thrift shop finds.
