A New Ski Lodge Sign with Old Sign Stencils

November 04, 2016

A chippy scrap of barn wood siding and a pair of $10 vintage, garage sale skis come together in my latest project.

First, I stenciled "Ski Lodge" on my 24" long scrap of barn wood siding with light ivory craft paint.  *My stencil is from the Funky Junk Interiors/Old Sign Stencils Ski Lodge Stencil, and the snowflake is from the Winter Graphics Collection.

My sign was then attached to the skis with four screws, and  a hanging wire is attached with a couple of small nails.

Two salvaged coat hooks are attached at the bottom of the sign.

My new ski lodge sign will be a part of my outdoor winter/Christmas covered patio display coming soon!
*Old Sign Stencils provided me with complimentary samples.
All opinions about these fabulous products are my own.
Thanks for reading my blog, Carlene
