Small Cutting Board Farmhouse Style Re-purpose

This is the cutting board I purchased recently for $3.

Up-cycled Thrift Shop Wood Plaque

I purchased this little wooden plaque with decoupaged country scene at the thrift shop for 50 cents.

Garage Sale Table Chalk Paint Makeover

I purchased this little accent table last Saturday at the neighbor's garage sale for $5.

Another Thrift Shop Banana Stand Re-purpose

I recently purchased another banana stand at the thrift shop.

Re-Purposed Crib Rail Photo Display

I purchased this vintage crib rail with the fun plastic ABC letters for $12 at a consignment shop a couple of days ago.

The First Garage Sale of the Season

Older neighbors are moving into an apartment soon, and had a garage sale this morning to downsize.  I was very lucky to get these Ball jars with mostly solid zinc lids for 15, 25, and 50 cents each!

Free Drawer Front Farmhouse Kitchen Decor

When I'm not creating and blogging, I work at a furniture store four days a week.  When this drawer front was going to be thrown away, I took it home with me.

Rustic Barn Wood Photo Holders

Do you remember these country school girls from the 1930's?

Easy Easter Or Year Round Wall Decor From Thrift Shop Piece

I am not sure of the original use for this board.  I purchased it at the thrift shop for 59 cents.  It has a shiny polyurethane coating so I don't think it was a cutting board.  It also had a leather string.

Chippy Cabinet Board/Grater Photo Display

I got this awesomely chippy, cabinet door panel from my Junkin' Friend Jodi.  Notice the raised part down the center of the panel.

Thrift Shop Makeover Funnel Twine Holder

I purchased this sort of dated, wooden candle holder at a thrift shop for $2.99. First, I removed the candle cup with a screwdriver.  I painted the candle holder with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in "Old White", and wet distressed the piece.

Repurposed Farmhouse Kitchen Bookends

My project today begins with these thrift shop Home/Visitor score tally chalkboard shelves.  When I first saw them, I thought they were bookends.

Thrift Shop Breadbox Makeover

A thrift shop, tired, old, dirty, wooden breadbox, with its glass missing, gets a much needed makeover on my blog today.
