Gears, Pulleys, Terra Cotta & Succulents www.organizedclutterqueen.blogspot.com
This junky contraption was part of a knife sharpening system that my Grandpa used to have in his garage.  Here it is with a pot of Angelina Sedum and two pulleys and a pot with Sempervivum.  More details here on my May blog post.

The Angelina has filled in nicely, and I love its bright color with the rusty patina of the gear and the terracotta.

The Sempervivums have also grown.

This old milk can top with a giant sized Sempervivum first appeared here in May in a post about the planning and planting of my front yard border.

The hen and chicks are growing, and green is filling in all around the milk can too.

These miniature galvanized pots on reclaimed wood first appeared here as new plantings.

As you can see the Sempervivums are multiplying and filling up the top of the buckets.

I put together a terracotta and succulent miniature garden here also in May.

As you can see the succulents are filling in, and the Sedums are blooming.  I added a rusty bike and watering can since the post originated.

The terracotta and succulent miniature garden is situated on a bench on my deck. If you don't have succulents in pots and/or in your garden, I highly recommend them.

  3. Everything is filling in so nicely Carlene! I have succulents and love them. I have lots of them showing up in my garden beds that have seeded from my containers. It's nice because I just did some up when I have something new to plant. A couple weeks ago I filled an old tackle box with ones I just dug up.
    hugs,
