Galvanized Accents on My Potting Sink 2014

The decor on my potting sink started with the barn wood and miniature zinc pots project, HERE.

The barn wood covered the sink's faucet holes perfectly, and I loved the contrast of the zinc and barn wood.

But while the barn wood/zinc pot project covered the faucet holes, something was still missing.  I had three square white metal tiles that I propped up behind the piece of wood.  I think the tiles set off the zinc pots and barn wood too.

This is my favorite watering can.  The patina is just awesome.  Impatiens are planted in the small bucket.

Next I added this galvanized lantern from Target.

I cut another piece of barn wood to fit the back of the lantern.

I added some river rock from the dollar store to the bottom of the lantern, and placed a small terracotta pot with sempervivum inside.

I added three rustic birdhouses, a funnel and another watering can to finish the potting sink decor.
