A Junky, Rustic Christmas/Winter Covered Patio

December 02, 2013
Today I am participating in a huge Christmas junkfest with 14 bloggers from Junkers United and the Twelve Days of Christmas Party.  The project I have chosen to include in the party is my covered patio vignettes, between my front door and the attached garage.

After you have viewed my post, please continue down to the links to other party participants and the linky party!  Happy Junking!

Starting at the far left of the patio, is a 1940's metal truck that I purchased this fall. It is filled with unbreakable Christmas ornaments and sits on top of my large Redwing crock table.

An enamelware pail joins the old truck on the table.  The pail is filled with more spruce treetops and birch and dogwood branches.  A red pallet sign rests on a picket fence shelf above.  My pot lid snowman is hanging on the side garage door, you can click on my link to make one for yourself.

Continuing to the right around the covered patio, you will see one of my favorite junk garden chairs with a galvanized pail of more greenery, my old buggy wheel, a chippy blue bench, a wonderful red wooden box, a minnow pail, a metal star, and a rusty blue lantern with grubby snowballs.

A pair of old Victorian ice skates, my Noel sign, and another rusty lantern with grubby snowballs.  The instructions for my sign are available at the link.

The front step has an old crate with another minnow pail insert.

I posted about this framed Christmas greenery in November.  You can see how I put this arrangement together at the above link.

  1. Carlene, I love your junky vignettes. They are beautiful. Your pallet sign gives me a great idea for something at the lake house (if we get to go before Christmas)! Thanks for the inspiration!!
