One Vignette Two Ways

February 03, 2013
The sewing vignette that I put together this morning...

has been changed up a bit.  I couldn't leave it well enough alone, and I made it into a Valentine's Day vignette.

The measuring tape under the votive/cloche is gone and white buttons on a card, red thread, and thimbles, including a red one, are under the glass.  A heart button has been added to the wire on the spindle.

I added a vintage Valentine's Day postcard.  Red heart buttons accent the two jars of white buttons.

Red crochet thread has been added to the crochet thread jar.

The bobbin holds three Dollar Tree hearts on a stick.

Another vignette with glass jars, sewing notions and a re-purposed votive shade/cloche.
